Anse Marcel

Anse Marcel is a beach located on the extreme north of St. Maarten, on the French side of the island. The drive up to the beach is worth the trip by itself, as it brings you up to and over the mountain and offers some amazing views from the north end towards Anguilla.
The waters of the harbor at this beach are shallow and normally calm, so it’s great spot to bring the whole family; even the little ones will have fun playing in the ocean. It should be noted that the beach is directly in front of resorts. There are some amenities available, but they are all through the hotels – no independent vendors hanging out here. This generally should not be a problem, but of course the primary focus will be guests of the hotel.
