This beach is a little different from many of the others on St. Thomas. Missing are the recommendations for snorkeling - this isn't that type of beach. White sand stretches out along the beach in every direction, including underwater. There are almost no rocky areas to be found.

This beach is all about sunning, playing in the sand and surf, and having a good time. It's usually not too crowded during the week, but on the weekends things can get pretty busy. This is mostly due to it's proximity to the University of the Virgin Islands.

Food is available from vendors on site, so you don't need to worry too much about packing things to eat. There are no rentals here though, so don't expect to do any jetskiing. There are no bathrooms or other types of facilities or amenties here either.

The water is usually pretty calm, the sand hot and white, and the breezes blowing. There are shady areas set back a bit from the beach if you need to cool off, or better yet head into the crystal clear water for a dip.
