Frank Bay

A lot of people might say that Frank Bay doesn't have a lot going for it. There are a number of urchins that call this area their home, so you'll want to be careful where you step. The sea can be rough sometimes, and the presence of large boats and ferries makes it worse.

On the up side, these factors keep a lot of people away, so you may have the beach to yourself. It's also close to town, so you can walk there without much trouble. There is an Indian restaurant on the west side of the beach, so at least you can get some food (unlike some of the other less populated beaches).

Not much information is available about the quality of the snorkeling at Frank Bay, although rumor has it that some people have had pretty good luck there in the past.

What else is there to do here? There's a salt pond across the road from the beach where you can see herons, pin tail ducks, and other birds. There's an alt gallery on the north side of the beach. And of course there's the larger ships coming through to watch.
