Playa Flamingo

Playa Flamingo is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica. It is located on the Pacific Coast, in Guanacaste province. A long, unadulterated stretch of sand cuts a gentle arc along the ocean, with a tiny island of Plata setting a picturesque background.
Clear water, (relatively) gentle surf, and lush vegetation covering the land all around complete the scene. Hotels and resorts line the shore, so this is a beach that can be a destination all it's own.
