Plum Bay

Plum Bay is a peaceful, secluded beach that’s located right around the corner to the north of Long Bay. Considered by some to be one of the most romantic beaches on the island, it has retained the natural beauty that comes with being an undeveloped beach. It is generally calm on Plum Bay, although the sometimes-presence of surfers should announce that reasonable waves do make appearances.

There are no shops, vendors, facilities, rental booths, or other types of amenities here, so plan to bring whatever you need. Also, be aware that there may occasionally be topless sunbathers, though it isn’t reported to be a common sight.

There are rocks and corals in many places near the shore, so be aware if wading in the water. This of course makes for good snorkeling opportunities, especially at times when the ocean is calmer. Be sure to head up near the north end of the bay where the cliffs are.
