Scott Beach

Scott Beach is technically a public beach, as are all beaches on St. John, but the beach comprises part of the Caneel Bay Resort. Access to the beach is via the resort, so it's not really possible to park and walk to this beach if you aren't staying at the resort.
It is possible to get to the beach via the water, but as there are so many other beautiful beaches on St. John, it may not be worth the effort. Once on the beach, visitors are not allowed to use any of the resort facitilities, so it really combines the crowded nature of a resort beach with the lack of facilities commonly found on more remote beaches.
